Haiku 5, a poem

1.

Of the gods ballots

Those who don’t know the ghostly

Pale face of the clock

2.

Crooked limbed foal

Stumbles unprotected stance

Unsure on mandrel

3.

A wall-eyed look through

Veiled contempt kept for small men

Contemptuous blood

4.

Her mouth is a slash

She speaks through grinding cold saw

Her stare is toxic

5.

Skew-whiff the chair legs

I believe what I’m told most

This is unkept ground

6.

Patient as sky Blue

Waiting has become habit

Flowers at the foot

7.

Planting of a seed

Tiny fingers test the air

An expectation

8.

A resplendent air

Flowered sheets hung out to dry

Tendrils of the plants

9.

An eagle eye view

Soaring beyond the cliffs edge

A perfect killer

10.

Rosinante curbs

Chewing oats from burlap bag

Cares of the Don sleeps
